Alcohol Policy.

Purdy & Co. is a bartending service only. We do not sell, provide, or purchase alcohol for events. All alcohol must be legally purchased and supplied by the client or venue in accordance with local and state laws.


Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for: 

  • Supplying all alcohol

  • Following local and venue-specific alcohol laws

  • Ensuring no minors are served

  • Securing and necessary event permits


ID & Service Rules

Our bartenders reserve the right to:

  • Request valid ID from any guest appearing under 21

  • Refuse service to intoxicated, aggressive, or underage guests

  • Stop service at any time if a guest or environment becomes unsafe


Liability Notice

The Drunken Pig is not liable for:

  • Alcohol-related incidents, damages, injuries, or legal issues

  • The behavior of guests before, during, or after the event, 

  • Any alcohol not provided or served directly by our team

Clients are encouraged to have host liquor liability insurance and confirm venue coverage when necessary.


Bar Service Hours

Bar service horse will end at the time listed in your contract or earlier if:

  • Required by the venue 

  • The client requests it

  • A safety concern arise, at the bartenders discretion

What You Provide

You (or your venue) are responsible for:

  • All alcohol 

  • Ice, cups, garnishes, and bar access (if not included in our package)

  • A safe, legal area for bar set up

Gratuity Policy.

At The Drunken Pig, we believe exceptional service deserves fair compensation.  A minimum gratuity of 18% is required for all events.

  • A tip jar will be placed at the bar during service to allow guests to contribute at their discretion.

  • If guest tipping does not meet the 18% minimum, the event host (client) will be responsible for covering the remaining balance.

  • This ensures our bartenders are compensated fairly for their time, professionalism, and energy throughout your event.

Gratuity is calculated based on the final service total, including add-ons and additional hours.

Deposit & Payment Policy

To secure your event date with Purdy & Co., a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of your total package price is required at the time of booking. This deposit guarantees your date and allows us to begin to prepare for your event.

Payment Terms:

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event date.

  • If full payment is not received by this deadline, Purdy & Co. reserves the right to cancel service, and the 25% deposit will be forfeited.

  • Payments can be made via Venmo Business or Square Space.

Rescheduling:

  • If you need to reschedule your event, your deposit can be applied to a new date one time, pending availability, provided the request is made at least 14 days in advance.

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made more than 31+ days prior to the event will receive a refund of any payments made minus the deposit.

  • Cancellations made 15-30 days will receive a 50% refund of the total paid.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days prior to the event are non-refundable.

Please note: no services will be provided without full payment receives by the 14-day deadline.

Liability & Insurance

  • We carry general liability insurance, but are not responsible for injuries or incidents caused by guest behavior

  • Client is responsible for ensuing a safe environment (i.e. level surfaces, shaded area, etc.)

Venue & Setup Requirements

  • Required 1-2 hours access prior to event start for setup.

  • Client provides: level surface, access to power (if needed), and sufficient lighting after dark.

  • If setup conditions are unsafe, bartender may refuse setup until resolved.

Weather Contingency

  • For outdoor events, client must provide tent/shade/cover, incase of rain or direct sun.

  • We are not responsible for weather related delays if shelter is not provided.

Damages

  • Client is responsible for any damage to bar equipment or rentals caused by guests.
